Hi Everyone I hope you have been enjoying some colder weather adventures in your Cali's over the past months? Since I released the last issue, I became a father! We have had a great time getting her used to the good life out on the road in Spain.

On top of that, I took the Advanture Magazine back to the drawing board. We are now back with the full-production publication, 100 pages of beautifully printed stories on FSC certified paper, uncoated, gear guides and more, in this coffee table style mag.

Printed and shipped from the UK, 3 issues per year. I am overly stoked with the result of 7-months of work redesigning the entire magazine. Here are some photos and text below outlining the key features.

Just got my issues 6 and 7 this week. 6 is nice, pocket sized, but 7 is a step above. Great quality, larger size, proper old school paper and super interesting content. I see a question, personally I like both - print but with a digital version when mobile. Look forward to issue 8 and I think when I bought I mail for digital access anyway.

Some excellent articles there Alex. One thing unique, the adverts blend in very well with the overall feel of the magazine. A very pleasant experience indeed.

Great feedback, thank you. A lot of people really liked the travel size of the earlier issues, It was not an easy decision to change the paper size. It was not due to the cost of it being more paper, as they are cut down from a larger sheet essentially. But after testing the new layout I really wanted something that had more space to enjoy the photos and words, and I could just not do it with the smaller format.

Awesome to know that you see value in having both digital and print! They really compliment each other I think.

That is really cool to get some feedback on the ads! I toyed with this idea for so long, and I am sure you will appreciate it was not an easy task to convince the advertisers to throw their brand guidelines out the window.

But I was tired of being sold to, so wanted the brands to become a part of the story-driven content. like this, I feel they are not just trying to sell to the readers, but entertain them too.

Hi Alex, congrats on your new arrival and new edition looks great. I’m planning to order issue 06 in Deutsch to test/ refresh my memory of 6 years of German lessons at school and unfortunately barely used since!

Are the new editions going to be English only? I couldn’t see Deutsch version for issue 07 in the shop

Thank you! There really are only a few copies left of 06 DE so don't delay. We are sending a German newsletter out early next week to announce a new retailer handling things over there...

So the print editions going forwards will only be in EN for the foreseeable future. The cost to produce the magazine at its new level is so high, we just do not have the readership to be able to offer the same production value in small run DE editions. But it will be available in digital

Ah great stuff. Those will post Monday! FYI, 06 will come form us directly, and 07 from our new warehouse. So two deliveries. I will throw one of our cool holographic stickers in the 06 for you!

Having a bit of a learning curve with our new fulfilment company! Any orders that haven't arrived so far should be turning up today. I've had feedback from a few customers that they received magazines today.

You are in no way forced to buy one of the print editions, as you only need to open your digital account to read the mag! But if you would prefer to download the latest edition, I can certainly get that enabled for you? Please just let me know. Thanks!

Would be great - I'm a bit old school on purely digital I'm afraid, always tend to print some of the content to keep apart in our inspiration folder. You have my mail via the magazine site (carobart at scarlet dot be). But after issue 8 which is in my subscription, I will probably go for the printed version as it looks fab. Keep on the good work and enjoy the small one !

Bit of a warning for other euroland people: newsstand adds a hidden and whooping 13% fee for the privilege of paying in euros instead of sterling. So when ordering, keep the currency in sterling. If you have a decent bank, the conversion fee charged by your bank will be a tiny fraction of this.

Fantastic stuff, thank you for your order! Yes, thank to Brexit we had to start sending the magazine with duties included upfront. We nearly went dead in the water on the last issue, as many non-UK customers were getting such high import duties, and sending the magazines back to us. It has been really hard to convince them to order again.
