Haven't seen many of the flying machines in a while o_O

Nothing spectacular, as I went to Vendôme again, where I went 2 years ago.

You Brits realise some of you are very strange? This was a home made metal box on a pickup, and it took the older man over half an hour to raise the roof with some cords and springs and levers.

Ford Nugget anyone?

bike trip from Nogent-sur-Loire (near Château-du-Loir), to Le Lude and back. Hot summer day. The second to last day, a bit cloudy and not much wind.

Castle from Montmirail, near Le Mans, not Paris.

Pierre Cochée in Droué. A grindstone from 4000 years ago with 27 slits for sharpening their stone arms.

And of course, not from the van, but we went to Blois, and took the bike for a ride, and suddenly we found this:

Hi Elly, it is Clayford Field, outside Wimborne.
Clayford House, Clayford, Wimborne, Dorset, England, BH21 7BJ. I found it through Pitchup.com.
Big wide openlevel field with a nice cycle/walking route to New Forest one way and Poole the other that goes right by the site.
One downside is about 1 mile of gravel road to get there but it is fine.
Toilets and showers open.
Have a good trip :)
Mike
