The cairngorms is stunning, was trying to work out where you are. Looks like Glenlivet areaCairngorms one night last week. That’s the moon and I think Jupiter in the background. Was a bright night! Found a great quiet spot next to a river, down an old track.

You need to be a strong man to ride up those climbs! I got into Audax about 2 years ago, but have failed on all above 200K I think I need a steel bike to make the rides more comfortable overall. (any excuse for a new cycle will do! )It was an early breakfast (4.45am) before the start of l’Eroica (my fifth time there, always with my Californias, t4, and then t5). Always great experience (135km, 2200m+), partially (70km) cycling on gravel white Tuscany roads (strade bianche). Beautiful!
