Looks like an amazing day. I know chirk well, and yes, them gates are some seriously impressive welding. Also great photos @motacyclist !! Defo be doing that tunnel with the kids, thanks for the heads upThought we’d go to Chirk Castle today, but due to the weather (?) it was shut! So we set up camp outside.

Went for a walk along the Shropshire Union Canal nearby, through the tunnel which is about ¼ mile long and out on to the aqueduct on the other side.
