Can anyone recommend a good, reliable, honest VW service centre in surrey or neighbouring counties?

I've used VW vans in North Camp, near Aldershot. Good price, good advice and although I only had a service done was impressed to see all the catches and latches were lubed. Hope that helps.

Isn't a main dealer though...if that matters, doesn't to me.

Do not use Lookers near Guilford though, absolutely terrible...on several occasions and rude service manager.

My local indie looks after plenty of Calis and Transporters (not exclusively vans, lots of stuff!) Osgoods, Alton, half an hour down the road, it's also right next to the station if you were dropping it for the day

Thanks. I have an All In Service Plan for the day to day servicing, but would prefer independent for the things that are not covered by the service plan, i.e. everything that needs to be replaced through wear and tear!!!

I’m in Surrey and drive to Citygate in Collindale no issues so far, but only had two simple services so far (and they fixed the early control panel issue)

SMG Tonbridge are good. Not sure if that’s a little to far for you.

We bought ours from SMG Tonbridge and they seemed to be ok, but when the sink glass cover fell out of the hinge (looks like they forgot to put any glue on it!) they wanted a whole day to fix it - literally 4 screws! They said that as it was a warranty claim they had to do a comprehensive assessment of the vehicle and it would take all day - what a joke!

Eurovans Crawley did that and another warranty snag in a couple of hours... although they ordered the wrong part first time so the Mrs ended up going over there twice, so they're not perfect either!

VAS Auto in Merrow, Guildford, Surrey. VW Specialists and I have been impressed so far. Suspect prices are considerably lower than VW dealership. Efficient and communicate well.

Also have a good experience with Citygate in Colindale and in High Wycombe. I had a couple of warranty items fixed recently in High Wycombe. The sliding door blind wasn’t working correctly, but they went to the trouble of checking all the blinds and replaced one on the other side as well. I was quite impressed.
