i assume it is possible to remove two of the bike supports without impacting on the integrity of the rack itself? If so which two would you retain? The reason im looking to remove two supports is that the majority of the time its me and my wife travelling and it would improve visibility through the rear window

If you number them 1,2,3 & 4 from tailgate outwards, then I would remove 1 & 3.

Yes I agree, but no4 is composed of 2 shorter length wheel trays (on T6 Kylie rack). So perhaps remove 1 and 4. We've used the bike rack to carry some large loads strapped on (up to 60kg), and the full trays may provide a more stable base. So perhaps move no3 to position no4?

Thank you

We have the 4 bike rack, but only use positions 1 and 3, if 1 is the one nearest the van. If we try to use the others, I find you get saddle to handlebar clash as the bikes are too close together. We’ve not take positions 2 and 4 off, as we also use the rack for drying washing when on site, so they are useful for that.

I must have the brain the size of a peanut (sorry to peanuts) but how do you get the bars off? The screw is easy but it doesn’t allow for the bar to be remove. By bar i mean the part the tyres are placed on.

Please ignore my last post. I’ve managed to do it (drop the rake as if to put on bikes) so sincere apologises to
