Washing Mattress Cover

Good evening, does anyone have any advice on washing the mattress cover in the pop up roof. I see it has a zip and can be removed but there are no care instructions. Any advice gratefully received.

We washed ours on a cold wash and left it to drip dry.....it came out perfectly. But it felt like a brave move at the time!
