In France at the moment heading down to Spain. I thought diesel prices were expensive last year but this year beats the lot. No subsidies any more. Prices on the motorways around €2.30 for petrol and €2.20 for diesel.
Supermarket garages at around €2.00. Spain looks to be around €1.60.ish.
Not going to complain when I get home at £1.50 …

The one nice thing is the weather is the same as at home maybe hotter. And some fantastic campsites for around €20 a night all in on ACSI.

Confirm. Stopped in Italy this morning for a splash, did a double take and carried on!

I have just spent 3 weeks in France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. I was quite shocked as well at the price of diesel. Made sure I came back to the UK with a virtually empty tank, normally I would fill up in France.

They have to recover the past subsidies somehow.

Tip i can gine you UK guys and others.
If you need to fill up and drive though Luxemburg you get a better deal.
Prizes over there are cheaper even for us.
