Wedges and bugs

We are meandering along the nivernais canal with our electric bikes. Glorious!

We were delighted to find that our wedges fit snugly into the odd space beside the inside table designated for canoe paddles or boat masts.

The upstairs bed is cool and comfortable but we wake to an entomologists delight of bugs and beasties resting on the ceiling above us. They don't want to fly down and we don't want to squash them against the mattress when we put the bed up. What to do?

We us an electric zapper to kill the bugs on the roof lining.

Our bikes are Emotion about 3 years old. We get about 40 miles on them on the flat with lowest power setting.
