What’s this? T6.1 question

Hi guys,
recently I upgraded to a used t6.1 beach (coming from t5), and I can’t figure out what is this for… I can’t find anything described in the manual, anyone can help please? It’s placed in the back of the cali

And also these 2 thread for screws

My T6.1 Beach has neither of those - see photos of the same areas.

The studs/ nuts in your second photo looks like a modification. Not sure about the first photo.

Never seen those fittings before. Look like a retrofit. 2nd photo - The two knobs on the vent look like it's designed to enable the vent to be removed - does the vent come off if you pull the knobs…maybe there is something installed behind it?

Also, Our 2012 T5.1 van had a 12v socket just behind the MFB leg. Can't see it inyour photos unless it's further forward or position changed in T6.1.

Is it the same on both sides? If yes I would say it's a support for a parcel shelf especially given the style of fittings in your first photo. It's clearly a commercial made product given the plastic moulding fit and form.

Has the van had the rear seat changed from a 2 seat bench to 3 seat?

Hi guys thanks for all the replies!
It’s only on the right side (left drive) and as far as I know it has always been a three seat bench.

For the threads of the second photo, they can’t be removed.

Looking forward to other ideas
