The USB socket allows you to use CarPlay/App connect etc.

You can use the top one to plug in the cable from that cassette player you use with your Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

(Sorry couldn't resist that... but really it's for any 3.5mm audio cable, eg to connect the earphone jack on your phone to play through the Cali's speakers - using the Aux setting on the radio unit).

I assume this is a T6 feature - or a post 2012 thing as I don't have it and had to have a dealer installed glovebox socket option for my ipod...

It was an option on older vans my 2015 doesnt have one, but not hard to fit one (depending on stereo in place possibly)
