What are your experiences with different brands for this size: 215/65 R16C?

I still drive on Bridgestone Duravis R410, as they were fitted from factory.
The front tyres last for 45000km, so I think that is quite good. The drawback is that they become quite noisy as Bridgestone is a rather hard compound.

Are there other brands (and types) that last at least that long, make less noise, and have a tyre label of at least B for fuel economy and rain handling?

The R410 has a C for fuel economy (although I can't complain with 7,7 liters/100km for a 3000kg machine), and B for wet handling. The noise is stated as 72dB.

Any advice or experience is welcome.

Hankook on our 2012 Beach currently 17,000 miles with plenty of tread left. Seem very quiet, quite a soft ride.

Previous T4 had 15" Continental Vanco tyres which lasted for ages and were excellent under heavy braking (had a few hairy motorway moments). Ride seemed harder than the Hankooks. Could be due to softer suspension on the T5. Likely to switch to these when the Hankooks need replacing.

Any advice or experience is welcome.
To get sound advice, you would need to give some more clues, I would think:
  • Are you looking for a summer/winter set?
  • Are you looking for all-season tyres?
  • Are you looking for all-terrain or tarmac-only?
  • Are you looking for commercial vehicle type (with reinforced carcas) or not?

Ok, sorry.

Summer and cargo tyres.
For the weight you'll be better off with cargo tyres.
