Where is the parking heater thermostat?

The heater appears to be running full blast regardless of the thermostat setting. The separate post "parking heater failed" refers. As advised, I'm going to see if a local eberspacher dealer (a boat yard) will attempt to fix. I anticipate that they will need to get at the thermostat. Can anyone advise where it is and how to get at it? I did ask in the other post, but thought it was worth asking again with a specific title!

Thanks!

Ian

(Snowy would appreciate knowing about this too)

Hi.

Have the same problem, i think. And it us alot of power from the batteries :(

Full blast regardless of thermostat selection on the panel.

BTW: Could it be something wrong with the "panel" on the "roof"?

Hi , did you try and reset the roofdisplay?
Holddown the "back" button ( the one below right) for 30 sec. , it resets the fridge, heater, popup roof mechanism ,...afther it has got a malfunction or error.
Can do nothing wrong , worth a try

Heater uses a lot of power to start up (which is why it will not start if batteries are low) then once going uses very little power.

Sorry I can not help with location of thermostat.

In our case, either the fault righted itself or it was my imagination in the first place- in any event the thermostat now appears to be working ok. I'm afraid I never did find out where it's located.

Changed "Earth shunt AND wire to battery": Nothing helped.

Full charged batteries: Nothing Helped

Observed Earth failure over the Aux heater: Probably cause ?
