Does anyone know of anywhere good to stay near Windermere as the site at Bowness is closed until 2022.
I’m up in a couple of weeks with the dog and my friends are staying in Bowness.

Braithwate Fold car park at Bowness is taking vans and motorhomes. £10 at the machine - toilet and water only.

or

Lakeside, train/ferry car park depot next to spa hotel and aquarium at the south end of the lake is £4.50 for 9 hours/overnight.

Just came back Weds.

Low Wray looks nice, but closed for the winter today.
