Winter campsites near Tignes

Hi. We are skiing in Tignes at Easter and will be staying in the Cali; however, I am struggling to find a campsite or “camping for cars” area to stay. We have done this before in other french ski areas; but finding somewhere close to Tignes is proving difficult! Grateful for any suggestions.

I have seen vans in the car park at Val Claret but I do not know of a convenient campsite. The site at Bourg St Maurice, where I am currently, is very good. It is, however, 20 miles from Tignes so unless you want to drive to the slopes everyday not much use.

Thanks Walrus. Apparently, there are free car parks at Brevieres and Tignes 1800; so I intend to give them a try and hope I do not get moved on. I have also emailed a campsite in Tignes Le Brevieres, not sure if it is open in the winter though?
