You'll probably get blackballed from that site, it won't end there, they'll send some men around inMy post seems to have disappeared again from the VW Commercial Facebook page. So being ever helpful I’ve reposted it.
Still haven’t heard anything from them. I’ve also emailed it to VWCS. Only the automated reply so far.
Well at least the roof will be OK, the side door won't scrape the side and the Control Panel will never fail. You'll probably get blackballed from that site, it won't end there, they'll send some men around in
grey smocks to take your cali away and replace it with a Mazda bingo with no leisure batteries and
a heater just with an on/off switch.
Just slightly impossible to turn the front seats or access the very tricky roof bed in a Bongo, cheap as chips though.Well at least the roof will be OK, the side door won't scrape the side and the Control Panel will never fail.

Well at least you tried, as said time will tell.Well, well, well.
A phone call from VW Customer Services on behalf of the Business Manager for Commercial Vehicles.
Spent 20 minutes talking to them about the abysmal customer service, product knowledge and after sales service from many VW Commercial Dealerships but did point out that there were some who were excellent, but that customers were buying £70,000 Lifestyle vehicles and not commercial vehicles and expected a better service. There should be a network of Combined or Specialist Commercial Dealerships that understood the California, and that Mercedes had now entered the market with the Marco Polo which also now had a 3yr warranty with Mercedes and guess what kind of Dealerships they sold their vehicles from.
We shall see if I have any further communication but I doubt it. Will things change - who knows. Time will tell.
Good on you, let’s hope they listen and invest in training and infrastructure to give us all a better service.Well, well, well.

Sadly I think you’re right. Bet they get a lot less hassle dealing with their “trade” customers than us fussy Cali owners. They won’t change, even though the total California sales are very lucrative to VW, they will be a small part of what a commercial dealership turns over. I suspect some of them even see handling the California as a distraction from their main business.
Well I did suggest Only Commercial Dealerships who do not sell or service a minimum number of California’s should have the vehicle removed from their stock list. Those remaining should be supported better by VW. Wishful thinking I know.Boycott those that don’t care and use Breeze who are fully supporting us. They might get the message when they aren’t meeting their sales targets. Imagine the Management meeting when the boss says “ Now guys, sales are down here, where are we going wrong?” I would pay to be a fly on the wall when they sit there scratching their heads trying to understand the concept of great customer service.
