The view this morning - Forest River Wildcat. How about that for a trailer!

A weekend away in Castleton. 43 years since I was last there and apart from more people being around now, the walk up the hill to the Castle has to be paid for and the A625 being a cul-de-sac since the road up Mam Tor was abandoned, nothing much has changed.
Finally went in the Speedwell Caves and was very impressed. Long boat trip, very narrow, low tunnels.
Winnats Pass is now the only way to leave Castleton heading West and it seemed everyone else was coming in.

The 1929 Hope Cement Works in the background. Built before the area became the Peak National Park. It helped to preserve the railway here, also provided a lot of work for the area.
The works collaborated with the Park to minimise it's impact on the area. Tree planting, landscaping, etc.

Winnats Pass from my Dash Cam, too many cars coming down to stop.

Newport bay, Pembrokeshire. Heaven.
We both love that area too. We've booked a pitch on the Morawelan site at the start of our summer holiday - looking forward to it!

It looks it , don't tell everyone though !
Considering it was the middle of the Easter school holidays, it was very, very quiet. Just how we like it! The scenery in that part of Wales is spectacular, and every field out of Newport seemed to be a campsite. Quite sloping, but with outstanding views of the bay and the coastline. Only 3 units on our site.

That's just sounds about perfect , will be adding to our list of places to go .

Taken on the way back from Tenby - we found a lovely smooth A road back towards Llandovery on the A483.

Stopped at a little park behind Sugar Loaf viewpoint. Took a short walk to the top to be confronted by amazing views before we made lunch as it started to rain.

We then headed to Llandrindod Wells for a walk around Sugar Loaf itself. We found a tiny road through nowhere to take us back to the A483. Scenery was breathtaking even in the rain.

No we booked as we were travelling. I like to head where the sun is! We usually wake up and look at the weather and decide to stay or move on to somewhere the sun is....

This was very advantageous as we had planned to go to Scotland but the weather looked atrocious so headed to Wales instead!

Just playing with potential aesthetic mods.
Thoughts anyone? Blue or Red or none or another colour?

Tonight we are at a free Aire by a canal in Belgium. It's near the town of Roeslare. I love picking out camperstops from the book; they take you to spots you'd not otherwise see.

Didn't grumble waking up to this view of Loch Lomond whilst wild camping. Just us, the loch and our Trev. Perfect.
