Charity shop finds for your Cali

What have you bought from a charity shop to either use “as is” or modify for your Cali?

I have been thinking about camping cubes for clothes in the wardrobe. On Saturday went for a mooch around our local charity shops. In the first shop found one of these bags for £1.50. Then in the shop over the road saw another for £1. They hold loads (T-shirt’s, walking trousers, pants and socks for a long weekend) and fit great in the wardrobe.



Vanity case / gift bag with zip closure, inside a large zip pocket compartment in the lid and inner part with drawstring feature. 36x25x20cm when zipped up. Made out of sturdy nylon outer and polyester lining.

They must have been from last Christmas (full of toiletries) and now people have emptied them and had a clear out at home will probably start popping up all over the Uk in our charity shops.

Bit pink and girlie for me but hey ho, you can’t pass up a fabulous bargain like that.

Whenever you need bits if you go to designated camping shops you invariably pay through the nose. Cheap shops often have similar items at half the price . We always trawl the charity shops when we go away. It's considered a British sport. I even got a Christmas advent calendar at the shop opposite when we went to the vw shop last November
