Hi guys ,as you may or may not know the charity for the COTF meet is Help 4 Hero's in which i'll be selling a few products and trying to get ,as much cash out of you lot as possible. ;) :bananadance

If you are attending the meet then thats great news ,but if your not then i'm sure i'll meet up with you on a mini-meet at some point ....

Myself and my son are going to be doing the charity cycle ride from the flagship recovery centre in Tedworth Wiltshire to london to meet up with thousands of other cyclists to do the last 10 miles through London .
My son has just got back from his first tour in Afghanistan.
He's an Officer in the Royal Marines 40 Commando ( all back safe ) :thumb

This is called the "Dawn Raid " a 2am start and totalling around the 100 mile mark..

The link below takes you to my donation account if anyone would like to donate anything at all to help the Help 4 Heros team help our boys that need it the most ..

Thankyou for taking time to read my thread :thumb :thanks

Just a round up of mine and alex's long day on the dawn raid Hero Ride from the H4H recovery centre in tedworth to a final destination of the horses guard in central London ....101 miles completed in 6hrs 21 mins ..from a 2am start was completed around some fantastic roads ,villages on route to london with some totally amazing Hero's and fantastic supporters from all over the country that we spoke to on our journey. I didn't expect what we got and the Buzz and atmosphere at blackheath was fantastic to say the least .. Linning up for the last parade through London wearing the colours of the H4H medal with a 38 motor bike strong escort to clear the traffic and close the roads was a totally amazing feeling with London showing it's true feelings as 1,300 riders passed them i felt proud of everyone of us for what we where doing ,as we come to a stop just before the horses guard for ceremony and almost walk to a finish point to start the afternoon events.. We thank everyone that played any sort of part in this epic day from supporters , staff ,london and donators :thanks
money raised i think was another £300 ish ( to confirm)

I never would have believed it would have been such an emotional day for me and words cannot describe the whole atmosphere from the first minute we arrived to the drive out of london knowing it was all over .....
