Insurance implications are multiple as a bridge strike requires a check for structural damage before the bridge can be safely used. Any repair costs would be way beyond a camper roof repair bill.

If it had been a rail bridge compensation for any train cancellations also comes into the costs. Bill can get into the Millions quite rapidly.

Shows how much safety margin they add for height clearances generally. The stated clearance is 2.3m and the GC height is 3.1m, but it look like they only shaved off about 200mm.

When you've been driving a Cali for long and thinking of upgrading to a Grand , because that 2m high feature really was always more a faff than being useful, then you rent a Grand to test out before committing..

Many times when I was renting vans in Munich, you would find various people renting them as well.

Something tells me it was an American. These vans have so many stickers inside telling you the height.. And they still didn't bother to care.
