Well it’s a circlip so it would be fitted in a groove on the outside of a tubular object to hold it in place. If it is indeed from the Cali it could be part of the mechanism that raises the rear shelf. That’s all I can think of.

Thanks Kayleigh, the mechanism did come out of its runners when I lifted it earlier and I had the normal faff to get it back in place so it could be something to do with it.

Is it from one of the locating/locking hooks? The circlip style is different on ours but it may be a possibility.

looks like that’s from the bench seat wheels to me. Hard to make out but there are a couple of pictures in this thread along with some instructions how to get to it.

So in an earlier thread I needed to access the mechanism that locks the bench to the rails in my 2008 SE as the mechanism was't working properly. It was an awkward job but not beyond the capability of anyone with a basic tool kit. In case it is of interest to anyone, the steps I took along with...

Thank you, I think you may have hit the nail on the head. We are on a trip at the moment so fingers crossed the wheel stays on until we get home and can explore further.

I’m pretty certain this is to do with the Multiflex and where is fixes to the rails. I remember when we took ours out to fit the slide out when we put it back in we had trouble getting these back in.
