Thanks Kayleigh, the mechanism did come out of its runners when I lifted it earlier and I had the normal faff to get it back in place so it could be something to do with it.Well it’s a circlip so it would be fitted in a groove on the outside of a tubular object to hold it in place. If it is indeed from the Cali it could be part of the mechanism that raises the rear shelf. That’s all I can think of.
