After not getting away a couple of weeks back we decided on a last minute break to Monkton Wyld in Charmouth.
Lovely quiet site, food vans nightly if you want them, good size pitches and very friendly staff.
It’s a learning curve but so far so good!!

Thank you... we drove round it last time we were in Bude to have a nosey - they were closed but the groundsman said it was ok. Looks a nice place, and good size pitches.

The facilities are excellent. Better than any club site I’ve been to. Warm modern shower blocks, large shop, bar, golf, tennis courts, badminton and mobile food most nights. Probably missing a pool if you have younger kids but we’ll definitely be returning as it’s in a great position to explore north Cornwall and Devon.

Hi, did you keep your Utility tent up in the 50mph winds?, we had an old Colapz version that get shredded in the Lake District in 50mph winds.

Yes the utility tent survived as it was next to the hedge. It’s pretty solid to be honest and it’s the single best thing we’ve bought for the Cali so far.

To replace our Colapz version we bought the same as yours recently in grey. Our Colapz one failed at the zip in the wind, but it was 2nd hand when we bought it so not sure how much use it has seen.
