I found this plastic clip in the rear seating area of our 2023 T6.1 Ocean and am wondering what it is from? It's about 2cm x 1cm. I can't see anything that is obviously missing something like this so it might not be from the van at all, but if it is I have no doubt that the hive-mind of this forum will know. :help

It is one of the four support bracket/clips for one of the shelves in the rearmost cupboard i.e where your gas bottle sits - a couple of mine kept falling out (as you have to remove a shelf to turn gas on/off) so I super-glued them in.

Mr T beat me to it!

I do find these fixings to be less than satisfactory. Often loose, they rattle about and never provide confidence. Having said that I’ve not had a shelf collapse yet. Does anyone use something different? Or, does anyone modify them in some clever way?

I put a bit of thin double-sided tape on every one of the shelf clips, to help keep them in place

If used with a shelf in place they'll support the shelf through thick and thin. Without the shelf they'll fall out.

Hi, just what I’ve been looking for, a few of mine are broken so I botched things up a bit! Does anyone know where I can buy replacements at a reasonable price?

In the U.K. they are the same price from VW or eBay.

I wanted a few spares, just in case I was caught out whilst travelling.

I followed the link in #5 and they appear to want £11:99 for one, plus postage. I emailed them to check, as that seems excessive, but they never replied.

I then asked my VW dealer and they quoted £1.80 each including VAT. So I have ordered four for collection at my next service.

The part number is as below, but they are apparently now sold individually.

Or ask a friend with a 3D-printer who will undoubtedly print a few for free for you as the cost of making them is almost zero.

A great idea….if only I knew someone / anyone who has a 3D printer.
I am more likely to find a hens tooth in sunny Staffordshire. :headbang

Would gladly print them for you but in in NL, so it would not be interesting for you cost wise. However, there's a few members with 3D-printers around these forums. Perhaps if a few more people have a need for the clips someone would offer to print a few.
