I'm installing a rear dashcam. I was able to drive the cable connecting the front camera with the rear one till the AC control unit.

Ideally, I want to take the cable till he top left corner. But I'm out of ideas on how to do it.

I tried with a cable guide from that corner. Hopping it will appear in the AC unit. But it gets stuck somewhere. Also, I don't know how to remove the top rear plastic to have a better view.

Any help/hint/tip on how to continue is very welcomed.

Maybe try removing the D pillar trim at the rear. See below.

The VW wiring loom runs down the other side of the vehicle behind the equivalent trim.

versa.

@WelshGas thank you for pointing me to the "D pillar". That is the key. Knowing what to search for made it easier.

Someone on the internet had a video about the "D trim" explaining how to do it:

This the result. Tomorrow I will try to make the cable not to rattle inside the plastic.

I had exactly this nightmare for fitting a nextbase rear camera to my T6 cali. Do the rear before doing the front. I bought a piece of small section white plastic trunking from somewhere and poked it through the heating vent opening towards the rear pillar. It got a bit caught up around the blind roller, but did eventually go through. Then i fed the wire through the trunking to the back and behind the rear trim. Remove the trunking by sliding it forwards over the front part of the cable.
The front is relatively straightforward, but the front blind roller is a bit awkward. Use something stiff with the end of the cable attached with sticky tape to poke it through. I used a piece of carbon fibre 3mm rod. I poked it through from the sliding door light opening. You have to remove the A pillar trim, being careful not to damage the speaker wiring.
I hope this helps.
