Just spent two beautiful days in Dorset ( freshwater beach) until tonight, the plebs have arrived en mass. Wow , from a nice chatty atmosphere to shouty, loud teenagers, noisey dik heads and soo low life, thankfully moving on Sunday.

Love Dorset, but it’s close to the big towns (London & Birmingham) so gets high footfall.
Need to head further away.
Like La Rochelle ! ;)

Went fishing at 05.00 this morning and the normally pristine beach had beer cans bottles and foot wrappings scattered about. So sad people like this exist.

Fear not you don’t need to go much further west / away from Westbay to find some peace, Seatown & Eype both have sites and and a pub and much quieter.

We spent a day driving through Dorset to catch the Poole ferry but really enjoyed it; nicer than Cornwall where we had driven from. Took the coastal B road near Bridport and stopped at the Chisel Beach viewpoint. Fantastic!

We’re in Seaton in the middle of August.
Not in Campervan but large house from Sykes with grandkid. Looks great.
