My wife is set to the primary user on the vehicle, and so I log in as a secondary user. Once I have completed the set up on my phone, its successful, however the vehicle is greyed on in the app.

Reading on line, other people suggested it might be a comms issue, so I have deleted the user in the van, as well as on my app, and repeated the process in an area with great cellular coverage, but still get the same results.

does any one know why the vehicle is greyed out and any potential solutions to the problem?

The privacy settings are all to most open.

Since posting, my wife found the solution. Within her version of the app, as the primary user, it had the option of creating a secondary user. Once done, I then received an invitation in my app, and now have full access.
