Inspired by Carl_______________ when he showed his solution for storing an EcoFlow solar panel underneath the rear seat bench rack (or whatever it’s called) with a 3D printed solution, I decided to get my 3D printer out of the dust and look for usable accessories that I could print without spending a fortune on “official” parts. Not that I don’t grant someone to earn money, but my wallet is becoming an echo well…

In this thread I will share the things I found and printed with photos and the link to the design. Most are not my own design, so I want to give credit upfront to the maker hobbyists out there that came up with these.

I did the remix of the remix for adjusted dimensions to fit my T5.2 sink hole which has 38x38x9 dimensions.

Condiment storage boxes

Unfortunately I am not able to find the link where I found these boxes, which is a shame as I would like to credit the (German) author of it. But the 3MF file is included.

Love that. Looks so much better than what we use. Difficult to find one that fits.

If the shipping cost from the Netherlands (where I live) to the UK wasn’t so ridiculously high for such a small package I would offer it to you just for that.

But the cheapest I could find is €10,55 with track and trace and that’s regular mail (PostNL)

To put it into perspective, pure printing cost is no more 10 euro cents.

That’s very nice of you. I’ve a plan to get busy with my 3D dremel. No download or postage required! I’ll report back in a few months - it’s pretty low down on the job list.

I see people from the Netherlands on a semi regular basis and could have a couple of addresses that you could post 2-3 to, i would happily forward one on to ACER if needed :)
I see 15-18th August, end of August and again early September

i would also be interested in a fridge open thingy as well if possible :)

Could be a big business:
Dutch manufacturer, exporting to West Country distributor, supplying the UK with it’s demand for California sink strainers! :D

I have no problem with that. Shipping to a Dutch address is €4,25 (up to 2 kg and needs to fit in mailbox).

As I am running out of printing material (filament) but have on order, I could send 4 sink strainers and my own fridge thingy (which I will just print later again for myself).

One point of attention especially regarding the sink strainer. The material used is PETG which can only withstand about 70-75 (on the safe end) degrees Celcius before it starts to deform so don’t pour hot liquid over it.

If you think that’s ok, just DM me with details where I can ship to and I will provide my bank account for the shipping cost.

That’s fantastic, many many thanks SanderR72 :) Dankjewel! :)

I don’t seem to be able to message you though :( ?

It’s a deal breaker I’m afraid. We regularly pour boiling water down there when straining vegetables and pasta etc. For those reasons this particular Dragon is out!

Sorry, I’m not sure if the Dutch get much of our TV. The “dragon” statement is a reference to a UK television programme :thumb

I get that. I don’t have other material currently at hand. Only Polycarbonate or Nylon with carbon fibre would endure temperatures over 90 degrees.

That’s another ballgame, both in material cost and printing difficulty (very susceptible to ambient temperature drops while printing and my current printer won’t do it, my new one on order will).

A couple of other things I've come across, a different water filler (fits really well) and hooks for the pop-top ceiling.

I’m printing with carbon fiber filament now. Thanks for sharing!
