Air quality certificate for France

not being picky but you said 'Toll tag" toll is peage ;)

You are picky......language diffrence ....;)
Try my best to use the correct words (not using any translator)

Toll is not nescecary peage , toll is a price you pay to go over a bridge , tunnel , in a city ,....

Neither can I. I was going to use what VW put on my new vehicle invoice. Euro6 for me.
What did you use for the 'N° de série' ? The VIN?
Can't find any Euro engine ratings on my invoice either.

Hi Alan, you have obviously completed the French form. A question if I may. When they ask for 'N° de série' on the form do they mean the VIN?
Thanks
No, they mean the registration number of your vehicle, not the VIN number.

Alan

Ok but that is a chip-tag ....we are talking stickers here....at least i was..;)

Is the Paris tag the same as the peage tag ....or is it a sticker?
It is a round sticker that is stuck to the inside of the windscreen on the lower right corner.

I know what it is ...it is just the fact you all use a diffrent specific name for things as i would think it is a word in general...;)
Toll-tag for me is any sticker-tag-ticket-.... you need to go over a bridge , in a tunnel , a motorway.....

So what is the difference between Registration Number and Serialupload_2017-3-20_19-8-45.png No.? See form attached.

I have not input these numbers

I was not asked for a VIN number. I completed the simulation and it came up with 2 in a yellow circle.
I selected No Euro standard shown on the certificate.
Thank you for the link I will take a look.
Ah OK. Thanks. You should be Euro5 in my opinion but you can see by following the link.

I would suggest the serial number is the van's VIN number in this case.

Alan
OK Thanks. That was my conclusion but wanted a confirmation. Thanks again.

I was just looking on the sanef website and noticed this. Was anyone aware of the need for the cert.
Yes, we were. We have ordered ours. €4.80 incl. postage in the EU. So order yours while you are still in! :thumb
Here is the official website in English: https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/. Cali's are private cars (class M1) for this purpose. The T5 EURO4 Cali's get a pollution class 3 sticker, the T6 EURO6 a class 2.

But don't get overexcited: for Paris it is only for inside the Périphérique, you can drive on the Périphérique without. Lyon and Grenoble only ask for it on days when the pollution is above certain levels.

As i stated i'm not keen on going in to the French big city's with my Cali i did orderd a vignette as i not want to get a fine when a traffic jam or road work should distrackt me in a emmision zone .
Orderd online wednesday evening , direct confirmation by an email and today (friday ) a digital copy of the form that they will send me , saying this digital form replaces the vignette until arrivial by post.
For just 4,80 €i stay out of sight with "les flics"

Do I need a pollution certificate for travelling in France with my new California Ocean

At the moment, only for central Paris, Lyon and Grenoble.

I have no idea as I have no idea where you are going to be travelling to next.

However for less than a fiver and two minutes filling out an online form you can have total peace of mind.
