A petrol Ocean, quite a change from my 6.1 4 Motion Ocean but time will tell if it was a good or bad decision.Which model did you go for @Dodge1311 ? Presumably a Coast or Ocean?
you can now make VW Pancakes! So I picked up my “New California” it seems this is how it is being branded. Even the manual is titled “New California” it was the first one collected from my dealership and to mark the occasion I am now the proud owner of a small VW frying pan.

Yes@Dodge1311 @Melyn @Hawthorn37
Congratulations on your new vans. Slightly random question, but is there space to use a porta-potty with the downstairs bed out?
Kindof… it’s pretty right though@Dodge1311 @Melyn @Hawthorn37

Proper grill pan - unlikely.... and (more important) is there space for the Grill pan...![]()
Interesting! You opted for the petrol...this is exactly what I am considering - may I ask why you opted for petrol? And for your initial thoughts on how it drives?A petrol Ocean, quite a change from my 6.1 4 Motion Ocean but time will tell if it was a good or bad decision.
To be honest I took it because it was available. I was going to wait for the hybrid but realistically as I do mostly motorway driving the petrol is working out fine costing about £20 less for every £600 miles compared to the 6.1 diesel and super nippy around town if anything it’s a bit too lively but I am getting used to it. For me having an electronic parking brake is as good an upgrade as I dreamed it would be.Interesting! Thanks. I was thinking that the electric parking brake would be an improvement. I guess the petrol is a quieter drive than the diesel? To be honest I took it because it was available. Everything is quieter, not a single rattle or squeak in the back.
