Anyone mark their oil filter

Any tips for checking if the oil filter has been changed at a service?

Would like to leave a "mark" on mine but it doesn't look easy to gain access to...

The colour of it will let you know.

Edit. Just noticed you said filter and not oil. You can get under and take a photo. The likelihood of it not being changed would be low enough to not worry about it IMHO.
