Hello

Has anyone sourced or sussed out an alternative to the sliding door blind on the beach. It's a pain in the bum having to raise it to open the door and get in and out and so I thought perhaps someone has found an alternative.

Many thanks

Karl

We have a Brandrup isolite screen that fits that window. It’s great as it stays on the door when it opens. Held to the window surround with a Velcro tabs.

Ooh interested in this. Was it a particular model/size please?

Cheaper versions available on eBay

Exact same ones on Ali express, half the price , not the best fit, slightly bigger than the side window, but they do block out the light very well and stay on the window very well , good for reflecting heat. For the price they are OK.

I would look at Projekt Camper (translate their page).

Not the cheapest. But by far the best. Magnetised, the geometric patterns jolly things up. Once you try, you won’t regret.

Consider yourself lucky if the blind actually stays down!!

I bought caravan curtain rail and stuck it to the bottom of the existing blind with Gorilla double sided tape, and then made a curtain. I do not use the blind at all. I did this in 2018, and it is still going strong. It is great if someone wants to change in the daytime on a hot day. Privacy without shutting the door

That looks as if there is some sort of surgical procedure being carried out!
