Does anyone know the exact model number of the factory fitted Thule awning?

I'd also like to know. I'm a first time California owner so not sure where to find it.
I have checked manual and also rolled out the awning to check for a sticker and couldn't see anything. I'm trying to source a replacement end cap that stores the tool to unroll it as we've lost ours(!)

@grumpyrs thanks for the pic - did you have to roll out the awning fully to find this sticker? I'll give it a go.
@secret lemonade drinker I'm assuming you're referring to a T6 beach? I think the T7 awning is likely a different model as it has the storage for the roll out handle integrated, which I think is different from the previous models but I'll check all the same

I contacted Thule to find out where I can get the wall storage brackets from and they have been pretty useless, just saying that the awning is specially made for VW so I need to contact VW for any parts related to the awning.
I can imagine the response I would get from VW if I start asking about parts for the awning.

Hi guys,
Do you know if the awning length size is 2.6 or 3 meters? I’m looking for a drive-away air awning compatible from Outwell brand that I heard they have a very good quality.
If anyone has any advice about a model or another brand it will be very welcome. I’m planning to use it in winter therefore it should have a good isolation.

For drive-away awnings, Outwell makes solid products - the Milestone range is worth looking at for winter use as they have pretty decent insulation.
Vango also does some good air awnings with thermal linings. The key is making sure the connection height and rail type match up properly with the Sidehill.

@Lakes_Puma - I understand your frustration with sourcing parts! The "specially made for VW" response is frustrating when you just need a simple bracket. Those in the states might also want check places like https://www.carid.com/ as they sometimes stock Thule parts separately. Sometimes searching by the part number rather than the vehicle gets better results.
