Do you happen to know what the software update is called or numbered please? Was it an actual software update or a DSG reset actuation that was performed? I've of the later to successfully reset the DSG.

Can confirm the VED for first year is 1280 for 150 DSG rather than much higher figure quoted a couple of months back before emissions established.

Sorry don't know the details of the update. It was only a software update to the latest version presumably replacing the when built version. I have asked around about having the DSG reset / re-learn thing done but was put off. My guy said had done it a few times at VW but results unpredictable...

Here is an update from the dealer from email exchanges throughout the day .... 10:53am.... “The Manual M1 Passenger carrying vehicles have been released - DSG should be any day.” 15:38pm.... “Im reliably informed that the DSG release will be this Friday, tomorrow.”

We had a buzz in our T5.1 SE, turns out is was the DSG in need of a software upgrade - some threads indicate major repair or works to the DSG but someone else had suggested the software update and it soled the problem. Ken

Well, by way of update. The extended warranty doesn't include DSG service at 40K, nor brake fluid change. The invoice shows DSG oil, and washer. Total value £215.79. No mention of the filter. Brake fluid change was £74.45 Total including VAT came to £348.29 (£148.24 labour)

I was told by my dealer that there would be no update for my 2017 150 dsg. That was back in January so i guess things could change.

There has been an update by VW for the T6 DSG gearbox , check with dealer if yours has had it. It should be applied by the dealer when servicing the van

No, Just tell VW that you have had the DSG remapped and not to run any software update on the the DSG. Its also worth sticking a note on the OBD port in case the service technician isn't passed the info. + if your van is still under warranty, it best to wait until this has expired before...

Just an update, Further op planned for 10 july next month for further spacing as symptoms started up again recently so just upgrading my van to dsg. Does seem to help, also after the first batch of surgery also needed a new left knee so clutch had been a bit of an issue but getting better since dsg

It is not a VW update, but a 3rd party reprogramming.
