Hi

Odd issue with t6 California, any help welcome.

Batteries new and at 13v
12v outlets only register 11.6 and so does control panel.? Where do I start?

On hook up 12v outlets register a charge but don’t register when solar panel is charging

Bit lost

When you say batteries are at 13v is that connected and at the same time as you are measuring the sockets? If so that is beyond odd! . Sounds like there is some load on the system if you have a voltage drop. Is the fridge / lights or anything else on.

Measured battery with meter and shows 13v , 12v sockets show only 11.6 and so does control panel? If I plug in ehu it charges batteries and 12v outlets register a lets and control panel registers the charge ?

I presume you measured the battery voltage between +tve and -tve poles?
What is the voltage between +tve pole and Earth point or chassis?
When on EHU or engine running does the Control Panel voltage rise to 14.4 v ?

It sounds possible that you have a high resistance connection and as it’s affecting the sockets and the Control Panel as well I would check ALL battery connections, both +tve and -tve Pole connections but also the Chassis connections of the -tve leads for both batteries.

Spend a few hours on YouTube learning about how to check voltdrop in a circuit.

Why would the Control Panel show the same voltage as the 12v socket if the problem was simple voltage drop in a circuit.
NB the OP also said the Leisure Batteries are new.
Control panel and aux 12v outlets in camper part show 11.6v
Heater and fridge work
Control panel shows input with engine running but batteries flash and only register 11.6v.
I will check earths etc next weekend.
Thanks
For advice

Hi
Had a check today……

Passenger seat battery 11v
Rear battery 13v

Both new batteries

Starter battery receives charge from solar
Rear battery receives charge from solar
Passenger battery doesn’t

Starter receives charge from alternator
Rear aux receives charge from alt
Seat battery no charge and no charge received on 12v out let’s

When on electric hook up everything charges

80amp fuse under seat blown

80amp fuse blown , can’t find one local , where do people buy them? Might just replace with flat type might be quicker

Is it a Maxi fuse (looks like a big blade fuse?)

if so GSF, Eurocar parts, Amazon - Halfords sell a 70amp if it was an emergency.

I would only fit the type of fuse that it is designed for and if you can't get the right part, then go lower.

Different fuse types have different characteristics (fast blow, slow blow, tolerances, temp profiles) and are there to protect the harness, so if you have to use an alternative, always go for the same type and lower.

Amazon, 12 Volt Planet. 75amp Cube Fuse

Doesn’t look like a cube fuse it’s, looks like a maxi blade type

Yes, that’s not the Cube Fuse.
80 amp Blade fuse in charging circuit for Leisure batteries
However, I don’t see how that 1 fuse can be the root cause.

You stated

Starter battery receives charge from solar
Rear battery receives charge from solar
Passenger battery doesn’t

Starter receives charge from alternator
Rear aux receives charge from alt
Seat battery no charge and no charge received on 12v out let’s “.

Ignoring the Starter Battery.

If the rear battery is receiving charge from solar then so should the passenger battery as they are directly wired together UNLESS the cube fuse has failed.

Also, I can’t understand how the rear battery receives charge from the alternator BUT NOT the seat battery. The alternator output via the split charge relay is connected to the seat battery ONLY and the rear battery is charged as it is wired in parallel.

Using the above diagram go through it measuring the voltage at every node/junction until you find the problem.

I’ve ordered both fuses and go through Everything again next weekend
Thanks for diagram , super helpful..
