12v Toaster Needed

Does anyone know when I can get a 12v toaster that I can use when not hooked up to power?

Never seen one, it would draw a lot of power. Have you tried toasters that work over gas ring ? Search forum for more info.

I agree with sidepod, that type of gas-based toasting device is great - beware - it toasts VERY quickly, but other than that it's really good. You can buy them all over - Go Outdoors, Millets, Amazon etc

I have one of these folding toaster things. They toast quickly but seem to produce a fair bit of toast dust that ends up falling round the burners.

I would imagine a 12v toaster would flatten batteries remarkably quickly

Try an old fashioned toasting fork over a bbq or open fire, very tasty toast !!!!!!!
