2017 VED

[Calincolnshire]

Has anybody worked out how the changes in car tax coming in 2017 will affect Cali owners.
It appears that existing vehicles are not affected but new cars registered after April 2017 will be pretty much all be paying £140 plus £310 per year for the first 5 years if the vehicle is over £40k.
I was also hearing chatter that campers would be classed as cars, so if you buy a new Cali then it's £500 a year . Does anybody know for sure how it affects camper owners.

I think the question to be asked is, " Am I going to give up the California lifestyle because of a change in Road Tax/ VED? "
For me the answer is a resounding NO. So basically if I buy a new T7 when it comes then that will be that, part of the anticipated running costs.
