Vehicle Excise Duty changes, April 2017

Had a quick search and couldn't see that this had been mentioned yet.

Some info here about the changes to VED happening next year.

This is of interest to those buying a new California as vehicles over £40k registered after this date will be subject to a £310 supplement for 5 years.

No idea. I though that modern Cali's were taxed as cars, but I see now that it is just the Beach version.

Some research has shown a confusing picture.
Beach - Registered as Car will be subject to the changes.

SE/Ocean - Registered as PLG will not be " at the moment " as the changes do not affect Commercial Vehicles.

That's my interpretation.

Car will be £39,999.99p with a seperate Dealers package, separately invoiced of £x,xxxx.
