23 nights - May / June

so we are planning for our 23 nights early summer tour - we have planned our first week winding our way down through france (Calais, Monets Garden, Le Mans, Oradour Sur Glane ending at Frontignan for a few days beach time. Our last week will be Ile D'Oleron and then across to Epernay and back north. It is the mid week and a half we are thinking about now, if we head from Frontignan down into Spain - I would consider some time walking in the Pyrenees, but am looking for ideas......

For Pyrenees you could take the cog railway from Ribes de Freser up to Nuria and hike up to one of the many peaks nearby (Puigmal is the highest), or walk the Costa Brava: Cadaques to Port de la Selva or Calella de Palafrugell to Palamos...so many amazing options in that area.
