80amp fuse - What is it for?

Sorry, this may be stupid question.
I have noticed the 80amp fuse advertised in the Essentials section of the club shop. Where does this fuse go and what circuit does it protect? I have looked in the manuals and have so far not managed to find out.

Being such a large fuse I would be a worried if the original one failed and would hestitate to shove a new one in without first knowing why the old one went west. Has anyone any experience of this issue and is there a common cause for failure?

Is it common for this fuse to fail and if so is there a common cause? Where is it located on an SE?

never an issue on ours but as it was a uncommon fuse got one just in case sods law is it would be need when not able to get one quickly

I dont think its very common to be honest. Its located
Under the passenger seat in one corner of the fuse box

I think I'd better order one just in case.
 
Probably it will never be needed, but you can be assured very few if any garages will carry one as stock.
 
Think there is an other heavy fuse near the rear lesure battery .Think it is a special square model ....need to look it up
