A bit harsh Admin!

This decision was made several years ago that non vip"s cant advertise on here or reply giving vip"s the edge when it comes to buying accessories. we normally if asked by someone who has sold their cali using the site upgrade them for free until their items are sold but only if asked first. I don"t think thats Harsh. we have also created a facebook page for selling accessories that anyone can use.

Fair enough but my point is that he was offering items in return for a charity donation.

Agree - selling and giving away (including giving away in return for a charitable donation) are different things. Maybe separate sections “for sale” and “for reuse”?

I know that I was very pleased that our Kela III went to a new home rather than being binned. In its well-worn state, and with the excellent use we had from it, I couldn’t justify selling it.

Trouble is as a VIP seller your potential buyers are restricted to VIP,s. Surely as a VIP seller you should have the benefit not the VIP buyer. As in this case inadvertently or not its the seller that is disadvantaged.
My view is anyone should be able to buy and only VIP,s able to list.

I saw the original thread and was thinking to move it to the for sale section , but as i was at work and supposed to be working :) i took no action , until later i noticed a other mod or admin took action .

Imo giving away free things should posted in the for sale section .

The point in having separate “for sale” and “for free” sections would be for VIPs only to sell, but anyone to recycle .

Agree , but it's not that there are give aways posted frequent so if we put them under for sale and keep it simple.
There are that many sub-forums allready and some people (not you;) ) Just don't bother looking at sub-forums when posting and post in wrong sections or keep posting in "beginners" even when they got plenty of posts and on the forum for a while...(some days it's full time job beeing a moderator;) )
Admins must dicide if a new sub-forum should be made .

I agree with Wim.

There is a limit to how many sections and sub-sections any forum can have and I think this is only the second or third time I have seen a charitable or free offering, the first time being my own listing.
