Whoops - still as hopeless as ever with posting on my iPad!
Anyway, thanks to all of you on this forum for all the valuable info on buying / owning a Campervan.
We have now had our Marco Polo for two months and been away three times. Everything has gone faultlessly, partly because the van is excellent but also because I kitted it out following all your advice and experiences.
You have certainly cost me a bit of money in accessories but have all been used
If you see me anywhere do come and say hello to us, Penelope included. She is brilliant silver and will be travelling down the Alsace wine route next month and probably up through Germany
Will probably lurk on this site from time to time but the mp one is gradually building up, which is good

Saying that, I have just had a read of the Marco Polo forum and you appear to be in good company as there appears to be some very positive reports from others.

I am on the right forum - I just wanted to thank you all for getting me started with my Campervan. I have been lusting after one for many years (long before the mp came out) and was particularly attracted by the concept of the Cali. When I finally came to buy one I had a choice between the VW and the Mercedes but your forum was what really encouraged me up to that stage.
It also helped me kit out my mp without making costly mistakes and I would never have bought such items as the ridge monkey as I only heard about it on here
Better get back to where I belong before I am banned!
