AA Car Genie

I was given an AA car genie that plugs into the diagnostics port of our Beach by the VW dealer in Birmingham. Gives a great log of trips and diagnostics as well as tracks the van. The one thing I couldn't work out is how it measures fuel consumption. Some trips it marks as no fuel used while others way in excess of actual. Anyone else using this ?

I used ours for the first time today, also from Birmingham van centre. It reckoned I used 1.6 litres of fuel for a 3.5 mile trip. I make that 9.94mpg! I'm going to give it a little while to settle down and get used to the van, and see if results improve. I like the rest of the features.
