Is it okay to use an adapter in the sockets by the sink in the GC600? Cannot plug two things in at once. Thought this might be a solution, ie by making the top one stick out and therefore not impede use of the one below. I’m not able to turn the socket sideways, as has been done by more capable people. Thanks.

Sure. We have a small one that has a single plug and goes out to 4 fused sockets. As long as you don’t overload the max wattage of both the van and the site, be fine. So loads of mobile devices. Fine. Two kettles, an air fryer and a microwave at the same time, keep your fire extinguisher handy.

Unclip the silver frame, unscrew the top socket and rotate 90 degrees. Reattach outlet and frame.

I’d really like to do this. Is it that easy? I’m no electrician

thanks

Very easy. Each socket is a fully enclosed independent module with the wiring fully clamped internally. Plenty of spare cable to allow the turn without putting stress on anything. I believe some folks have their dealers do the tweak if you don’t feel you want to tackle it but it is a simple 5 minute job. Only small gotcha is it needs a torx driver to remove the module, T20 or T15 (don’t recall which)

Ooo, thank you. That is extremely helpful, Gordon.
