Adding Custom POI to RNS 315... a possible solution.

I haven't tried this yet but I know like many 315 owners it can be frustrating not being able to add POIs. or custom map locations to the satnav like you can with the 510.

Its not a quick and easy way if you want to import a lot of POIs and has a max of 200 but it could be used to add a few wild camping spots etc prior to a trip. Anyway here is the link, I will try it later and update you all.

Just an update on this on how to use it for those with this stereo.

You will need to create a folder on your SD card (same one as music) with a folder called destinations

Go to the URL and search for anywhere you want to add as a POI. Create the vcf file and add it to the destinations folder.

Once installed in your stereo you will be able to access them.

Select Destin memory

Press SD destins

Choose from the custom destinations.
I've added a few of my fav campsites to try it out works well. Also accidentally added the work location too.

Incidentally you can import the POI and then add further to the card. Rumour is 200 is your limit but I suspect you can add 200 to the radio and another 200 on a card quite easily.
