Advice about integrated seatbelt on middle/extra seat. We are about to buy a T5.1 California- very excited but noticed the seatbelt is damaged

Does anyone have any experience of replacing the integrated belt- how tricky it is or if there is a company who specialise in it- and what kind of ballpark cost might we be looking at?

I don't know about repair costs, but unless things have changed significantly second hand seats used to go for about £250-£300 so that would be your worst case.

There is one in the classifieds at £375 at the moment so perhaps they have gone up a bit.

I bought one off the forum last week for less than £300

Probably easier to replace the seat.
Additional seats go for between £200-£500 each. Check eBay, FB Marketplace & the forum.

They take up a lot of space so the cheaper ones tend to come from houses without garages / storage….as they are usually keen to get rid of them asap to free up space.

Seems fairly straightforward to replace the belt. About £150 and undo a few bolts. Click on the “ Google “ link below.
