Looking at a week away late in August to camp in Wales for the first time. :embarrased

Thinking the Gower for a couple of days for some surfing/boogies/SuP then moving onto Pembrokeshire then circling back into Brecon and home back to the flat lands of the New Forest.

Any recent recommendations on good sites appreciated as there seems to be so much choice.

Cheers
Mark

Pencelli Castle near Brecon is a lovely family-run site. As well as stunning walks on the Brecon Beacons, you can walk into Brecon along the Brecon & Monmouth canal, which runs alongside the campsite. It's also on the Taff Cycle Trail and has a pub opposite. No dogs apart from assistance dogs.

Booked into the 3 Cliffs campsite next week. Hoping for some sun and Surf.

Thanks for all the suggestions, we need to explore Wales more as an alternative to Cornwall and Devon.
