Air-safe et al. - anyone used them in the rain?

I've used our Brandrup Air-safe a few times now, but only ever in quite amenable weather conditions. Has anyone used one in the rain, and if so were there any problems? I realise the obvious answer is just to try it, but I don't much fancy trying to dry out the fabric chair compartment etc. if it doesn't end well!
