Airbag light - OUCH!

Well finally resolved my airbag light issue, not the common under seat cabling culprit, but a faulty igniter meaning whole passenger airbag replaced. £280 OUCH!!!!! But glad I did not simply get the light switched off!
The non - starting issue has gone away (typical) so nothing to be found ... and they reckon the speedo and rev counter red needles are actually lit - well I must need to go to specsavers then!
Well at least the bus is back ready for use this weekend!

You wouldn’t have been able to Reset the Airbag Warning Light unless the fault had been fixed, but glad you got it sorted.

Hi David, was this the seat side airbag or dash passenger? I have an issue with the light coming on and with help from Loz we identified it as being an issue in the passenger side air bag. If so where did you get this fixed?

seat airbag and done at Listers Van Centre Coventry
means totally stripping seat upholstery back and then put back keeping contours, not an straightforward task...
