Got back from a few days away in Cornwall, tidied up as usual, locked up till the morning. Went to bed and about 02.00 woken up by car alarm ,bugger, hope someone turns it off. Few minutes later realise it’s my van bugger again. Got the fob and just pushed any button, alarm stopped. Now feel guilty, my name is mud with the neighbours. A restless few hours later in first light I go to the van, check doors, windows and push van side to side, nothing. Here we go, look up online blah blah blah. Now dreading the main dealer experience , time cost hassle etc. Ok leave it see what happens. Next night, with the fob next to the bed, tried to sleep and lo and behold 03.00 ish off it goes. Aaaahh ,fob switched it off. In the morning apologies to neighbour I open van not knowing what to do, and get a face full of a spiderweb, wiped it away and thought No, pea sized spider removed and so far no alarm issues.
