Hi all, our California is due to arrive any day now, so we’re getting excited!
We’re a British family living in Lausanne, Switzerland since 2004. We have two kids (3 and 5) that were born in Switzerland and we’re all bilingual French and English, so we’ll also be saying hello in the French sub-forum later.
Spec-wise, we've gone for an Ocean with the "Liberty" package (not sure if that means anything outside of Switzerland) and a few additions of our own: 4motion, for example, which is pretty much essential where we live.
We'll be using the van for the daily commute but most importantly, after years of taking planes everywhere, the plan is to use the California to travel overland to visit our family and friends who are split between the south of Spain and England, as well as to explore more of Switzerland and our neighbouring countries.
Our first big trip will be down to the Almeria region during the Easter holidays – can’t wait!
